1. Introduction

This Return and Refund Policy governs the conditions applicable to purchases made on the e-commerce website detiramisu.nl, headquartered in Amsterdam. As the products sold are perishable food items, they fall under the exceptions provided by EU withdrawal regulations.

2. Exclusion of the 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

According to Directive 2011/83/EU and applicable national laws, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases of perishable and food products. Therefore, items cannot be returned due to change of mind or preference.

3. Damaged, Contaminated, or Unfit Products

detiramisu.nl guarantees the quality and safety of its products. Customers are entitled to a refund if the delivered item is:

  • damaged during transport;
  • contaminated;
  • altered or unfit for consumption upon delivery.

In such cases, the customer may request:

  • a monetary refund, or
  • a store credit of equal value.

4. Reporting Procedure

To request a refund, customers must:

  1. Contact customer support within 24 hours of delivery;
  2. Provide the order number and a detailed description of the issue;
  3. Share photographic or video documentation proving the damage or unfitness of the product.

deTIRAMISU reserves the right to decline requests lacking sufficient evidence.

5. Processing Time

Once the claim is received and verified, deTIRAMISU will process the refund within 5 business days.
